MIS Network Utilities Site Controller 1.7 Free Downloads at Simtel.net Site Controller is an Active Directory and NT4 domain management system that is designed to lower the time and expense needed to design, configure, trouble shoot and manage an Active Directory, NT4 or hybrid based domain

User account creation
* Site Controller manages the formatting of user names across the domain to maintain a unique, consistent user naming scheme
* One click user creation creates the user account, home drive and NT profile, sets user security and grouping, and generates a unique password for each account
* Site Controller can create a batch of accounts from a spreadsheet allowing an administrator to create many accounts, including the home drives, NT profiles, user security and grouping by simply selecting a spreadsheet containing the users to be created

Reports
* Reports can be run to display information about the domain, including configuration information and user information

User logon procedure
* Site Controller uses a program called the Logon Procedure, an advancement over the traditional logon script to perform the functions of the traditional logon script. This allows an administrator to quickly and easily set drive and printer mappings, application deployment, application support and autorun programs without having to write and test any logon scripts

Application Deployment
* Site Controller can deploy software to all the workstations on a domain when the users log on

Drive and printer mappings
* The administrator can set drive mappings using a simple Point Click interface. If the share that is being mapped does not exist Site Controller will automatically create the directory on the server and share it
* Site Controller allows an administrator to set printer mappings using a simple Point Click interface. When a user logs on to a workstation icons for the printers are automatically created on the desktop
* Home drives are automatically mapped for users when they log on
